Hi,

I need to provide the codec for playing WEBM videos in IE 9 and above in offline mode. Currently the *.exe file that gets downloaded from the https://tools.google.com/dlpage/webmmf/ searches for internet connection while installing the codec. But my project requires the video to play without using the internet.

Please help me in finding out how and where can I find the offline version of this codec. If possible, please attach the same and mail it to me as soon as possible.

Kindly acknowledge to this email with your kind reply.

Best Regards,
Amit Kumar

It "searches for internet connection" during installation because what's downloaded from the page you link is a shim that downloads and executes the real installer. You can observe this process using an application like WireShark.

Direct link to the installer package that WebMMFSetup.exe downloads when launched:

Note: Installing this package directly will prevent auto update of the components from functioning properly (which may be irrelevant given your no internet requirement).
