HEVC Test Vectors

Hi All, 

I want to test my HEVC decoder. Someone please help in the following regards,

 What kind of configuration I have to test? How can generate streams? I mean which encoder have to use or can I use any other tool to generate streams? How can I confirm that the streams I have generated were good test cases?

For comprehensive testing, you best bet is to purchase a conformance stream suite.

Intel has a set of HEVC test streams for various profiles with excellent coverage and it also comes with HEVC encoder that you can generate your own test steams based on your specific test requirements. Here is the product link:

Hi Anand,

Argon Design offers full comformance bit-streams for both HEVC and VP9. Our bit-streams are directly generated from psuedo code versions of the specifications. We then verify the coverage of syntax, values, ranges and cross coverage to ensure full coverage the specifications.
