simple_encoder.c in libvpx

I am a newbie in vp8 and when i study it, I want to encode an image with vp8 standard. I checkout libvpx and build on my Mac OS X with folder libvpx. I want to run the example simple_encoder.c in it . the main method require parameters: codec_arg, width_arg, height_arg, infile_arg, outfile_arg, keyframe_interval_arg when it run. I don't know put this parameters how to run.

Everybody help me to run this example, include input file and after running the output is what???
