can I create a webp compression app forthe mobile device with the functions provided at thistime

Let's say I want to take the raw file or the jpeg file and compress it to webp on the mobile device can I do that with what google developers are providing me? I want to create a mobile app and enterprise solution to handle the compression of all images so the webp format becomes standard mobile transfer file.... Can u help Matt 908 902 9042

Yes, the library is in C so can be compiled for the target platform and used directly (or through bindings on e.g., Android). Note on Android there is API-level support for webp encoding [1] (and decoding).

Thank u so much.... Do u think it would be smart to build an app or service that would take the photosrer male make webp files for upload. I am more of a concept guy then a programmer. I used to work for cell company years ago.... Are u interested if there is an opportunity. The Matt 908 902 9042
