I've managed to embed exif data in webps using the webpmux library described here (https://developers.google.com/speed/webp/docs/webpmux). It appears to be working. I've used the pre-built webpmux program to read out the exif which is appears to be a binary blob. My problem is I can't find any existing libraries or programs that can convert this data to a human readable format. Does this exist? Thanks!

Exiftool [1] should be able to handle raw blobs.

Exiv2 has started work on looking at webp.

But they are desperately understaffed, so this is plea for any coders out there to pitch in! The more the merrier!
