Hi, I was able to use gif2webp to convert a gif but I have a lot of them to convert. How would I go about batch converting gifs to animated webp?

best is to use a script for looping over the files to process.
See issue #101's answer for a Windows and batch examples of such scripts:

hope it helps,

It works! But I get a .gif.webp file (006.gif.webp). Any idea how to get rid of the .gif part?

It seems ~fn conflict in that example. You could try something like %~dpI%~nI. Have a look at 'help for' in a command prompt.
