Is there a Spotlight importer for WebP?

I use the metadata for my photos extensively. And I really appreciate that I can use them in both Picasa and in Spotlight in MacOS X. In order to use WebP in some of my use cases it would be really useful to help Spotlight find my WebP files by keyword.

As I understand it, Spotlight importers exist for this purpose. Is one available for WebP?
