Doesn't work with Photoshop, opens Premier Pro

The WebP plugin stopped working in Photoshop. After multiple attempts, I deleted and redownloaded. Now, when I try to install, it opens Premier Pro - which I never use - and is still not available in Photoshop. Help please!

What version of Photoshop and WebPShop are you using? On which platform?

Thank you. I've followed the various instructions (Terminal command string, copy to app support folder, etc), restarted Photoshop a few times, still getting the error message that it can't be used "because Apple can't check it for malicious software."
