a question about VP10/AV1 Thanks!

Hi,

I read some news about AV1(Alliance Open Media),  could you help me confirm that VP10 will become to AV1?

also could you tell me if VP10/AV1 has the parallel processing capability like H265 Tile?

Hello,

VP10 is no longer being developed and will not be released. Google morphed the VP10 activity into AV1 through the Alliance for Open Media.

AV1 does support parallelism through tiling.
