Since we updated to WebHare 5.8, we have noticed that png are treated as jpg when uploaded in the <imgedit. Also when editing and republishing older pages, images lose their transparency. I have attached the image in question and what it looks like after it being uploaded. When aborting the value of the imgedit, this is what i get:
Custom error message: '+RECORD

I can't reproduce this. Someone mentioned it might have something to do with setting the serverwide default image format to WEBP instead of "Keep" - but nothing wrong

What are the exact steps taken? can you provide a screen to reproduce it? Or can it be replicated using the imgedit test page, eg https://my.webhare.dev/testoutput/webhare_testsuite.testsite/testsuiteportal/?app=webhare_testsuite:anycomponent(imgedit,%7B%22width%22%3A%22250px%22%2C%22height%22%3A%22250px%22%7D)

(please make sure you reply to the group, not privately)

I couldn't replicate it using the imgedit test page. I also made a tolliumapp that only contains the imgedit and on there i can still replicate it. Yesterday i also saw that the image that i set as a logo, in the global settings of my localhost, lost it's transparency as well.

I see that too.

Setting an output format triggers imgedit forcing to image/jpeg if imageeditor actions are enabled.

We've made updates to 5.8 and 5.9 which fix this and should now be in the docker images
