Velogames - Tour de France 465207221

I've started a mini-league for the Tour de France. The League code is: 465207221 and the League name is Waterloo Cycling Club

If you've never joined a mini-league before note that you need to pick a team first, and after that you can link your team to the mini-league. Note that you can rearrange/change your team picks as much as you want before the deadline. The deadline for entries to be submitted is 11:00 CEST Central European Summer Time (4:00am Waterloo time) on Saturday 7th July.

Unfortunately, it seems that they got a cease and desist from the ASO. There's an official TdF fantasy game, if someone wants to take initiative and start a mini-league there.

I'm in general feeling like sticking it to the man today, and I'm trying to improve my coding, so if you remember who you picked for your team (I assume I can trust your team was within the 100 pt limit or whatever) send it to me via h2merrit at gee mail dot com and i'll try my best. Even if I fail, i would at least be a fun project and good way to learn something.

Just gotta find the original scoring rules, might be archived somewhere...

Nice! I think the scoring for the TdF league was the same as the Giro Rosa which is still up: https://www.velogames.com/giro-rosa/2018/scores.php

I had a love-hate relationship with velogames. On the one hand the site was a mess, authentication was unencrypted, navigation terrible. On the other, it was there since 1997, always worked well, never charged us anything and was reliable.

I am definitely not using the official one.

Gaelen, I am sending you the team I think I chose. I looked at https://www.letour.fr/en/riders and reassembled it, but I am not sure this is the last one that made the 100pts. If you need any help with the implementation let me know and I can try to help.

Update on this - i've got it working great. Using giro rosa scoring rules. I'll send some standings etc tomorrow when i have time. Fun project.
