To become a member, all you have to do is pay dues. Information for this year's dues will be released soon. Dues are usually around $300 for the full year, $150 per semester (fall or spring), or $10 per visit. However, these will change for this upcoming semester.

If you are interested in traveling and competing for the team, you will be required to participate in fundraising. This includes working concessions at one of the VT home football games.

The first week of practice is FREE to VT students that way they can try the sport out and see if they like it.

During the school year, we practice Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30-10:30pm at Virginia Techniques Gymnastics (Gateway Plaza, 1550 Roanoke St, Christiansburg, VA 24073). Due to its far distance from campus, we offer rides from campus and the surrounding area. The gym is run open gym style so you get to come into the gym whenever you want to. If you plan to be a competing member, you must attend practice at least once a week. Unfortunately, we do not have a coach, so most skills are self taught. There are still plenty of experienced members that can spot and help teach you things.

In order to compete, we ask that you compete at least 2 events (vault does not count for men).

For competing members, the season starts at the end of the fall semester when we host our annual competition, Hokie Classic. In the spring, we usually travel to 3 other competitions. This past year, we competed at JMU, Ohio State, and at the International Gymnastics Camp in Pennsylvania. These are really fun to go to because you get to grow closer with your team and represent the university on a national stage. Our last meet of the year is Nationals which changes locations every year. This year, Nationals is in Memphis, TN.

If competing isn't really your thing, don't worry! We still have a lot of team boding events throughout the year for all members of the club.
