Welcome back everyone!

We missed you! Hope you all had a good break and are ready to get back to dancing with SalsaTech! 

Executive Board Meeting Tomorrow!

Want to be more involved with SalsaTech? Want to share feedback to improve the club, meet the club officers, or find out how you can volunteer or join the E-board in the future? There may even be new positions to fill this semester.

Come to our Open Executive Board Meeting tomorrow (Monday) at 4:30pm on Zoom!! (https://virginiatech.zoom.us/j/3999722452). Even if you're new to the club, we'd love to have you stop by!

If you're not able to make the meeting, but still have ideas or suggestions for the club, reply (not replyall) to this email and let us know!!

Monday Lessons

We host FREE lessons every Monday of the semester (starting on 1/24/21). They are in Squires 116 (the dance studio behind the Break Zone) and are open to all students and the public. No partner necessary, but bring some friends if you'd like!

Next week will be:

• Salsa Beginner 1 lesson  6:30-7:30 (no experience necessary!)
• Salsa Beginner 2 lesson  7:30-8:30 
• Salsa Intermediate lesson 8:30-9:30
  

Lessons will alternate between different styles of Latin dance, including Salsa, Salsa Casino, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba, and Zouk! If there's a specific style you'd really like taught, let us know!

Wednesday Social at Milk Parlor!

THIS Wednesday is our first social of the Spring semester.

No partner or experience necessary! Bring yours friends and enjoy dancing and drinks…if you're 21😉 

• 9pm Open Practica (Bring a friend from Monday lessons to practice what you learned in a more casual setting)
• 9:30pm Beginner’s Lesson
• 10pm Open Dance

Please Note:

• 21+ are FREE.
• Under 21 is a $4 cash cover. No one under 21 will be let in past 9:30pm, and only the first 50 get in. Sorry for the inconvenience; this is not our doing. 
• Two forms of ID needed if from out-of-state.
• No drinks are allowed on stage. We do encourage bar safety. If you set a drink down, please do not continue to drink from it; and if you see any suspicious activity, notify the bartender or bouncers
• We encourage a healthy environment. Please stay home if you are feeling sick, and wear a mask if you are unvaccinated. Note: VT requires masks indoors regardless of vaccination status.
