Greetings CSFWC members,

This year's Cumberland-Shenandoah Fruit Workers' Conference is just around the corner on Dec 4th and 5th 2025. This is a final reminder that registration for in-person attendance will close at midnight EST on Sunday Nov 16th, 2025. Registering online by this date is the only way to ensure you'll receive lunch at the meeting, so we can give a final headcount to the venue on Monday. You can register online at this link

We'll have an exciting plenary session on Dec 4th featuring Clayton Myers from EPA discussing the Endangered Species Act impacts on pesticide use, Alice Axtell from IR-4 discussing pesticide regulatory challenges, and Diane Kurrie from US Apple to discuss labor, tariffs, and the Farm Bill. Don't miss your chance to hear updates on these issues and how they're impacting the industry!

If you've already registered and are considering submitting a presentation, we've extended the deadline for presentation submissions (student and regular) to Nov 21st. Submit your presentation proposal at this link

Students, don't miss your chance to compete for the competition prize! To enter the student competition, fill out the presentation submission form above, check YES for student competition, and send your abstract to me at kre...@certisbio.com

If you have any issues with the links, please reach out or you can go directly to the CSFWC homepage and find the information there:  http://csfwc.grapepathology.org

This meeting is a great opportunity to share and learn recent research updates for the tree fruit industry, hear from our plenary panel, and network with your fellow fruit colleagues. I look forward to seeing all of us brought together for another year at the 101st CSWFW on Dec 4th and 5th 2025!

Sincerely,

Karly Regan
2025 CSWFC President
