Dear students,

A range of community arts events are coming up around the visit of wildlife conservation artist Doug Hiser.

These events are hosted by community organizations in the New River Valley off the Virginia Tech campus.

Many are free and open to the public and include opportunities to make art!

For students with kids: one of the events is on the October 17, Friday, 10:00 AM in the YMCA at Virginia Tech on 1000 North Main St. in Blacksburg.

It’s a day when the Montgomery County Public Schools are closed.
