Cranwell Connections    July 29, 2025     Steppin' Out is this weekend in downtown Blacksburg 10:00am-10:00pm Friday-Saturday, August 1-2. Take part in a classic Blacksburg street fair: Three stages of free music, food for purchase and many local arts and crafts vendors, and a 1-mile competitive race or move at your pace down Draper Road on Friday night. There is also a 300-meter kids "fun run" that is 100% free with medals for all finishers, pre-registration required. There are still spots open to volunteer if you want a behind-the-scenes experience.     Coffee with Cranwell: An Immigration Lounge    Want to meet other international students over coffee and refreshments? On campus this summer and have a question that isn’t quite right for an immigration appointment? Coffee with Cranwell is a great opportunity to build community and chat with International Student Advisers.  Where: Community Room- 1025, Harper hall  When: Friday, August 15, 3-5pm      Contribute to the Global Dance Party Playlist     The Global Dance Party is August 19, 8:30 PM in Commonwealth Ballroom. Our goal is to provide a world tour of ways to get down. And you can help!     Let us know what you want to hear! Email playlist suggestions to fa...@vt.edu before August 4.      We’ll need the song title, artist, a version (if applicable), and we’d love to have a country/region.          Free Movie at the Lyric    The Land Before Time - Waterstone Mortage, Free Money Fridays  Fri., August 1 at 10:00 am    Admission is free!  An orphaned brontosaurus named Littlefoot sets off in search of the legendary Great Valley. A land of lush vegetation where the dinosaurs can thrive and live in peace. Along the way he meets four other young dinosaurs. Coffee with Cranwell: An Immigration Lounge
