In recent years, the political and social landscape has grown increasingly complex and challenging. For people committed to creating positive change—whether in education, community development, or broader societal improvement—these pressures can lead to significant personal and professional strain, negative effects on health, and a sense of uncertainty about the future. This presentation focuses on how to thrive in the face of these challenges. Attendees will explore how to reframe their perspectives, strengthen personal and collective resilience, and foster supportive networks that sustain long-term efforts. By focusing on actionable approaches, this session aims to empower participants to continue their vital work with renewed energy and purpose, while cultivating a sense of hope and collaboration in pursuit of a brighter future. Co-sponsored with the Virginia Tech School of Education and the U.S. Department of Education through the AANAPISI Grant Initiatives.
Reception to follow the presentation.
