The integrity of the triaxial extension cable is very important to have a valuable signal.

Even some modification that seems trivial can have an impact.  For example : altering the grounding cable.

Here, a unaltered grounding cable connected to the LIN : 

In the following picture, a new crimped grounding lug was added after the original grounding wire was cut (see clear heat shrink)
