Need help getting files off a Panasonic KX WL-50 word processor

I made the mistake of getting a Panasonic WL-50 word processor instead of the WL-55 or WL-45 models which do have MS-DOS capabilities. Everything words perfectly, besides the fact that I'm not sure whether I can actually download files off of it that can be read by a modern computer.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this machine, and if anyone knows of a way that I can get the files onto a modern laptop? I appreciate the help.
