Newbie and question about Syquest drives...

Hi there, 

Just found this group hanging off VCFFed.org.  I'm an old Mac guy who got into the Vintage hobby last year from a friend of mine.  Got a few Working Classic Macs.

Current question is has anyone gotten old Syquest 44meg or 88meg cartridge drives to work and read data successfully.  I have two, a 44meg which is dead as a doornail and an 88meg which spins up and then blinks and shuts down.  

I'll scan the conversations to see if there is something Syquest related.
