United Students for Fair Trade is excited to announce this summer’s Fair Trade Fellowship!
This 8 week research and
organizing fellowship is for current university students from June 13 - August 8th.
The purposes of this fellowship are: (1) To facilitate the deepening of knowledge of the fair trade movement
among young people; to allow student leaders to develop USFT’s strategy,
values, and longer-term vision. (2) To build relationships and alliances within the fair trade network. (3) To strengthen USFT’s leadership base in preparation for the
2014-2015 academic school year by developing organizing skills and
understanding of the complexities of fair trade. (4) To build the base for next steps in the 2014-2015 school year.
HOURS: Summer fellows will work 20-25/per week and report to USFT staff.
LOCATION: Work will be remote with some travel.
STIPEND: Fellows will be paid a stipend of $1,400 for the 8 week program.
