Hello USFT!
This week our Topple the TPP Week of Action!
To kick-off the week, we joined forces with other anti-TPP organizations to make our voices heard in Washington D.C. with protests at the U.S. Trade Representative's office. Now it's time to bring it back home. USFT students are holding events all over the country to get the word out and make our voices heard. If you want to join us, give me a call!
Even if you're not with a campus group right now, there are plenty of really easy ways to show your support:
1) Sign the letter to Congress
2) Wednesday is our national call-in day! All over the country we'll be calling our representatives to urge them to stand with us against this dangerous agreement. There's a helpful phone script here Get as many people as you can to take a few moments to call their representative--it's quick and easy!
Throughout the week we'll be sending out more action alerts, so stay tuned.
Time is running short and it's going to be a hard battle, but there is hope. We can stop the TPP if we act now. The people united will never be defeated!
