I hope you all had a good week. We have two upcoming community service opportunities through the USF Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement that will both be considered In-BAP service hours. The registration links for each event have been added to the Volunteer Opportunity Sheet. Please check out the details below if you’re interested!
Horns Up for Hope: Join Hope Children's Home at the Community Day
Volunteers will participate in a hands-on service experience focused on
supporting the campus and the children who live there.
Service activities may include:
- Campus beautification projects (landscaping and light maintenance)
- Organizing storage areas
- Assisting with special projects inside residential cottages
Some work may take place outdoors, so please bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water bottle.

USF Pulls: Invasive Plant Species Removal with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful
This hands-on event will support an environmental restoration project in
partnership with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful.
Volunteers will:
- Assist with removing invasive plant species
- Help restore the natural area along the bank of the Hillsborough River
All work will take place outdoors, so please bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water bottle.
