How to show or not show your contact info in measurer searches on certifiedroadraces.com
You can check if you are being shown in measuring searches on the certifiedroadraces.com website by going to
and selecting your state or typing in your last name. If you do not appear in the list and you want to, or you do appear in the list and you do not want to, you can change that by changing the settings of your account.
1) Go to https://www.certifiedroadraces.com/ and click on the Measurer Login button.
2) Log into your account.
3) Select Settings

4) Select the pull-down menu at the bottom.

5) Select the option to show your contact info or the one to not show it.
6) Your new settings will be saved automatically. No further action is needed.
Note that changes you make will be reflected on both the certifiedroadraces.com measurer list and the Measurer Map (although for the Map the change won't be reflected until the next monthly update).

When to use certifiedroadraces.com and when not to
The most recent version of the Procedures Manual (see the next topic) has an explanation of the types of course measurement that the online certification system can handle, and the types that it cannot.
In general, if your measurements of the course were done in single rides from start to finish (or finish to start), then you should submit your application through the online system. If your course measurements were not done in continuous rides, i.e., you measured the course in segments, then you should email your measurement data to your certifier directly, and not use the online certification system.
Please see Appendix G of the Procedures Manual for a comprehensive list of the cases that currently can and cannot be handled by the online certification system.

Checking certifiedroadraces.com for status of your submitted courses
After submitting your course application to certifiedroadraces.com, it's important to follow up by checking back on the site periodically to see the status.
  - Check the course database search page to see if the course has been approved and appears on the official USATF course list.
  - Check your certifiedroadraces.com Dashboard for the status of submitted courses.
  - If you are a final signatory or certifier and have submitted LDE courses, you will need to click on the LDE Applications link in the menu on the left sidebar to check the status of those.

RRTC website
For the most updated information about USATF/RRTC course measurement and certification go the RRTC website at
This website includes information about the new online certification system, USATF/RRTC rules & policies, state certifier contact info, tools for course measures, historical course measuring info, etc.
Be aware that the information on the USATF website is not as comprehensive and is not updated as often.

Course Measurement and Certification Procedures Manual
The latest version of the Procedures Manual is available on the rrtc.net website
at the top of the page under Popular Links.
This latest version of the manual (and future versions) includes a table of contents with hyperlinks to the TOC entries to make document navigation much easier. It also includes Release Notes for each version, which list all the changes made to the manual since the previous version. This allows you to review all the new/changed sections without having to re-read the entire manual.
