Dear All,
We are recruiting a postdoctoral research fellow to process and analyse marine controlled source electromagnetic data from a cruise to Brothers volcano in the southwest Pacific that is scheduled for February-March 2026 and integrate the resulting resistivity models with results from other geophysical surveys and drilling at Brothers, including from two 2025 cruises, and with numerical models. The project is focused on the hydrothermal system beneath the caldera and its links to the underlying magma storage zone and involves partners in the US and New Zealand and several other international collaborations. Further details can be found at https://jobs.soton.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=3099025HN. The post is available from 1st September 2025 and the project is due to end on 31st August 2028. The closing date is 19th June. Potential applicants are welcome to contact me directly at tm...@soton.ac.uk.
