You may have seen the recent New York Times coverage about the volcanic eruption at 9°50'N on the East Pacific Rise, witnessed for the first time by scientists on RV Atlantis and HOV Alvin last week.
We are fortunate that this week's U.S. InterRidge webinar speaker is Dr. Jill McDermott, who has been studying the vent system at 9°50'N since 2006 and has led multiple expeditions to the site. Please note the updated title!
