Hi Markus,

Heard from Tim that you might have better idea on the release schedule of MF2.0. It doesn’t have to be concrete and determined timeline. Based on the current progress, do you have any estimation with say 80% of confidence? Even this would help us a lot!

Btw, do you have any recommended way that we can prototype using the tech preview, and launch using MF1.0 with easy switch to 2.0 whenever that’s official? Appreciated!

There is a TypeScript library for converting MF1 messages to MF2:

https://github.com/messageformat/messageformat/tree/main/mf2/icu-messageformat-1

but as far as I know, no one has made a C++ tool for the conversion.
