Bug 3119

Hello,

I am under a significant time constraints to prototype using the ICU for
internationalizing our product. One member of my team had prototyped a small
application using 2.02 of ICU. We then all migrated to 2.6 ICU (ICU4C) and
the existing 2.02 demo no longer functioned.

I submitted bug 3119, using Jitterbug, about 4 days ago and have yet to hear
anything. Could someone look at this bug and at least tell me if packaging
resource bundles into shared libraries on Linux is no longer supported in
2.6, since that is what I thought the issue was? I looked in Jitterbug and
nothing has been done with this bug as of yet and I really need an answer of
some sort on this issue.

Jitterbugs are considered for each release but not necessarily handled
immediately, as usual with bug-tracking systems.
APIs and tools are subject to change
(http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu/develop/), but shared libraries continue
to be supported.
