with reference to the following:

Any updates on when ICU will officially support Big5-HKSCS? Last update in
jitterbug 569 points to version 2.4.

More importantly, when will the ICU mapping files for it be available in the
CVS repository?

Well, I have an HKSCS mapping table that mirrors the Mac OS 10.1
implementation of HKSCS. The UCM file still needs the header information,
and it may be missing some reverse-fallbacks. We won't officially support
it, but we _hope_ to make it available from our charset CVS repository
when ICU 2.4 is released.
