Hi all,

This afternoon I pushed an update to the University Website Assets based on a request from the University's leadership.  The link for Continuing Education & Outreach was removed from the collection of campus links found in the heading.htm file.
  • As before, If you maintain your own set of  website assets, please remove the Continuing Education & Outreach link from your collection of Campus Links as soon as possible.
I also replaced the Google Analytics property that is found in the page templates available in the University Website Assets.
The new property is UA-34361385-1.

If your interested in learning more about Google Analytics for your site, visit the University's Unit Website Requirements. There you can find a link to request a Google Analytics profile for your website to track visitor traffic on you site. By doing this, you'll be helping to provide meaningful information to Integrated Marketing and University Relations on usage of the University's websites.
  • You can use the new code as soon as you are ready to, but as of today there is not rush in migrating.
  • We are going to move away from the existing code in the next two months and we are planning to help folk make the transition by doing a global find and replace on the old Analytics property.
  • We will be communicating more about this in the coming days and then we will discuss the implications for your sites as web managers and developers.
The tickets we tracked these changes against can be found in our bug tracking site 1.7.2 - Remove a linked from the Campus Links menu.  If you have any questions about these two items, you are welcome to contact me or put in a request with 6-TECH by phone at 336.256.TECH(8324) or by email at 6-T...@uncg.edu.

Thanks,
