Hello Everyone,

I'm Elijah Brunson and serve as Climate Justice Organization with NC WARN a climate justice organization based out of Durham, NC. It's a pleasure to be on this Sustain L list. I have an invite for you all. Flyer attached

We are hosting a screening of The True Cost of Power: Duke Energy's Climate Deception, with College Park Baptist Church, on Tuesday, June 2nd, from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. Free parking is available on-site at 1601 Walker Ave, Greensboro 27403. 

"The True Cost of Power: Duke Energy's Climate Deception" is an 18-minute documentary that spotlights one of the world’s worst climate polluters and features a globally prominent scientist insisting that Duke Energy’s massive expansion of fossil fuels and suppression of climate solutions absolutely must be stopped.

After the short film, there will be a discussion about NC WARN's roiling statewide campaign to stop one of the world's largest climate polluters from greatly expanding fossil fuels and suppressing climate solutions. The executive director, Jim Warren, and I will discuss various ways we can all take action to help slow the climate crisis.

The event is free, but space is limited, so please make sure to RSVP here.
