Important update about Thursday: County Commission time change

As of yesterday, the Guilford County Commission has cancelled their work session scheduled for 4:00 pm this Thursday. Instead they are now planning to schedule a retreat for the end of the month and discuss a clean energy resolution at that time.

The Commissioners will still be meeting at 5:30 pm this Thursday, March 5 for their regular meeting, and Aidan Loretz is planning to offer a public comment in support of the resolution drafted by Guilford Clean Power Now. Please attend this Commission meeting to show support for Aidan's comment and our efforts to get the County to commit to transition to clean energy! The meeting will be on the second floor of 301 W. Market St.

We will let you know as soon as we hear the date for the retreat because the discussion at that time will address the issues most important to our request for Guilford County to go GREEN!
