3. Tuesday March 3: Climate Cafe at the Back Table 816 S Elm St 11:00-12:30 pm. Presenters: Jada Weathers is the Communications Officer and Halima Opata is the Programs Officer for the Beloved Community Center in Greensboro.
Presentation Summary: Through real examples and small-group practice, participants will learn how to expand allies, navigate polarization, and reframe campaigns to center shared values.
Jada and Halima presented this workshop at the recent Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation Commission Summit organized by the Beloved Community Center at Bennett College, February 2026. Triad Third Act believes that these are important ways of thinking, organizing and skills to develop as we engage in the 2026 elections.
