Greensboro & UNCG Transit and Bicycle Way-Finding Design Workshop
UNCG Transit and Bicycle Way-Finding Design Workshop, 109 Graham Bldg, 1009 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro NC, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm Thursday April 9th.
Transit Alliance of the Piedmont/TAP in conjunction with Bicycling In Greensboro, Voices Together Now, Cone Health Foundation, and faculty from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Departments of GES and Interior Architecture, are sponsoring
a Greensboro and UNCG Way-Finding Design Workshop for transit users, walkers, runners, and bicyclists. The design workshop will be at the UNCG campus in Room 109 Graham Building at 1009 Spring Garden Street, Greensboro NC 27412. The design workshop will be
from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday April 9th 2026. There will be food and refreshments available at the design workshop.
The design workshop helps the community and UNCG students, faculty and staff give focused input for ongoing efforts by UNCG and Greensboro to update several key transportation plans. The purpose of the design workshop is to identify existing popular local travel
routes for transit users, walkers, runners, and bicyclists, to identify locations of needed way-finding signage, to design optimal way-finding signage for clarity and ease of use, and to identify where future improvements could be best made. The improved signage
will help to better connect residents and students to UNCG, downtown Greensboro, and surrounding neighborhoods.
