Topic: Increasing the availability and affordability of clean energy in Guilford County

Guest Speaker:  Susan Lindsay

• Susan Lindsay spearheaded a successful campaign called Solarize the Triad in North Carolina, which led to three houses of worship and over 70 households installing solar panels.
• Susan is now involved in a new initiative called Electrify the Triad, which focuses on electrification by switching out gas appliances for electric versions and increasing energy efficiency.
• Susan will also tell us about the Weatherization Program, Rebates (Energy Saver NC) from Duke Energy and the Crisis Emergency Funds.
