Hello, lovers of clean energy!

As you may know, Guilford Clean Power Now is asking the Guilford County Board of Commissioners to pass a resolution committing the county to transition to 100% clean energy by 2050. 

We need you to show your support for this resolution at 4:00 pm this Thursday, March 5, when the Commissioners have scheduled a work session on our request. They are bringing in two speakers to talk about the implications of the resolution. We understand that one is a sustainability manager from another county, and the other is a former member of the NC Utilities Commission.

Open to the public, this work session will be held in the McAdoo Conference Room in 201 W. Market Street. This location is not the place where they hold their regular meetings; it's next door in the building with the office of the Register of Deeds at the corner of Market and Greene Sts. They'll be on the third floor.

Parking is available across the street in the Greene Street Parking Deck.
