Join prize-winning Brazilianist historian (and UNCG Grad student) Travis Knoll as he connects his experience at the United Nations' Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Brazil to environmental justice organizing since the 1980s.
Join the conversation with UNCG and international collaborators over sustainably-sourced vegetables and pão-de-queixo, a Brazilian delicacy.

Join us for a screening of “Unbreathable: The Fight For Healthy Air,” a film by Maggie Burnette Stogner that details the challenges we still face to ensure healthy air for everyone. 
Following the 30 min. film, we will be joined by Kennedy Williams of Clean Aire NC, Dr. Valerie Ann Johnson of NC Environmental Justice Network, and Dr. Bhuwan Thapa from the Geography, Environment, and Sustainability Department at UNCG for a panelist Q&A.
Food and beverages will be provided. Sponsored by the Student Government Association and the UNCG Green Fund.
