Speaker: Nancy LaPlaca, Third Act Energy Consultant, will discuss why Third Act is focused on two types of distributed solar: 

1. Automated permitting for residential rooftop solar. 

2. Plug-in or balcony solar - why it’s a gateway to understanding the value of solar. 

She will also talk about how these issues will play out in North Carolina.

2. Documentary Wed. April 22

 Triad Third Act is cosponsoring this event with Veterans For Peace, Peace Action and other organizations.

Join us for a screening of Abby Martin’s latest documentary, Earth’s Greatest Enemy, followed by a discussion.

The film investigates how war, militarism, and empire pose one of the greatest threats to life on Earth, connecting environmental destruction, human suffering, and global instability. This is a timely, thought-provoking film that invites urgent reflection and community discussion.
