Listmates,
This is a newly developed position that is the culmination of a ten month long high level town/gown assessment of AOD related issues on the boarders of our campus and our downtown Franklin St. area.
The position is a collaboratively funded effort between the UNC Chapel Hill campus, the town, and
the county Department of Public Health. It will be based in our unique Downtown Partnership Office and will work alongside our campus prevention coordinator and our town police ALE liaison officer, among many others, to implement the various recommendations
from the Town Gown coalition.Though not housed directly at the University, it
will very much be a community based collaborator with significant ties to campus efforts and community partners. It has promise to be a very interesting high profile opportunity. See below for link to a description and application process.
