I am Nadia Williams-Murry, a Senior undergraduate Public Health student studying at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am currently interning with Amelia Mattocks Doula Services. During this internship I will join Amelia in attending her full-spectrum doula training and other training doulas to become a trained support person myself! I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing opportunity!
Expand your skill set and professional toolbox by becoming a "Full-Spectrum Doula!"
A full-spectrum doula provides physical, emotional, informational, and advocacy support for people on their reproductive health journey, which includes fertility, perinatal, loss, and abortion support. This doula training utilizes Doula Trainings International's evidence-based curriculum. The concepts you will learn are rooted in reproductive justice and birth equity principles.
If you are interested in learning more about the training and how you can use what you learn for professional development, there is an information session on March 9th at 7pm EST. You can register for the zoom session HERE. Email Amelia or check the website for more information if you cannot attend.
Please feel free to share the attached flyers with your networks. Happy Black History Month!!!
