Very Important! This fellowship is offered through a national competition and may not be offered every year. The sponsoring organization has not yet announced the guidelines and conditions for this year. This award may not be available or eligibility requirements may change but we are proceeding with the application process so that if it is offered we are prepared.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Please submit an electronic copy of the following materials to Rachel Goeller at deco...@umn.edu by noon on Friday, September 9th, 2016
1) A 300-word abstract describing the research and its significance, including the thesis title and name of the author but not the name of the nominating institution
2) A letter of support from the advisor
3) An electronic copy of the thesis should also be provided. 

Psychology is only able to submit one nomination for a Plan A master's thesis. 

SELECTIONThe recipients of the award will receive a $500 honorarium and will be nominated to the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools’ (MAGS) annual Distinguished Master’s Thesis competition.  The national MAGS winner will receive a $750 honorarium and will be invited to the MAGS annual meeting in spring 2017.
