I wanted to share some info below on a workshop for small food retailer focused on the intersection of food justice and racial justice.

Hi Food Co-ops,

 

Just wanted to send a quick reminder about next week’s Good Food Access Program Workshop – Wednesday August 26 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

 

From the registration page: “Small food retailers, please join us for a seminar on Technology. J DeVon Nolen, Market Manager for the West Broadway Farmers Market in North Minneapolis, will share information regarding the intersection of food justice and racial justice. This seminar is funded by Minnesota Department of Agriculture through the Good Food Access Fund – Technical Assistance program.”

While it is not necessary to register on the eventbrite link since we are not needing a head count to prepare food or have enough handouts and materials ready – it would be helpful to register in case there are changes made last minute, they can be posted and mass emails sent out as needed.
