Hi all,

Registration is now open for a virtual, 2-day, Spanish-language Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule Grower Training course on February 12 and 19. Can you help us spread the word, as applicable to your networks? This course is for produce growers, and co-organized by the Latino Economic Development Center, Michigan Food & Farming Systems, Michigan State University Extension, and the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. Participants may be from anywhere within the United States; if you know of growers or orgs that this would be relevant to outside of Minnesota, please pass this on.

I’ve included a Spanish-language blurb at the bottom of this email, along with an English translation. A Spanish-language flyer and social media graphic are attached.

If you’re looking for English-language farm food safety trainings this winter – find a full round-up of Minnesota’s Produce Safety Rule Grower Trainings and Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) trainings on the University of Minnesota Extension website.

Questions? Let me know! Additional Spanish-language contacts are included on the flyer.

Thanks,

Alex
