Dear colleagues -

In order to maintain vendor support, the database for the PeopleSoft and MyU applications will be upgraded on Saturday, September 22 beginning at noon. During the upgrade, the PeopleSoft and MyU applications will be unavailable and the associated database will be offline. (Note: this activity is limited to a database version upgrade, there is no change in the application versions nor is there a change to the structure of the application data tables.)

Impacts/Schedule:

  • Saturday, Sept. 22, 12 p.m.: MyU and all PeopleSoft applications, including UM Reports, will become unavailable.

  • Sunday, Sept. 23, 12 a.m.: MyU will be back online and available. PeopleSoft applications (CS, HR, FS) including UM Reports will be unavailable.

  • Sunday, Sept. 23, 12 p.m.: PeopleSoft CS and HR will be back online according to the normal maintenance schedule.

  • Sunday, Sept. 23, 2 p.m.: PeopleSoft Financials and Financial UM Reports will come back online according to the normal maintenance schedule. All reports will have data as of Friday, Sept 21, 11:59 PM.

For any systems you support which integrate with PeopleSoft and/or MyU, please plan accordingly and notify your user communities as appropriate.

Please monitor the System Status page for updates on the progress of the upgrade. An all clear message will be sent out when the work is complete.

Thank you,
