Thanks to those who participated in yesterday's CA User Group meeting and provided suggestions and comments related to changes we need to make to some of our policies and procedures based upon the Uniform Guidance.  I wanted to follow up on two questions raised at yesterday's meeting.

Q: Is the $150K max for fixed prices subawards only for federal awards or all awards?

A: Just federal awards.

Q: Is the $3K threshold for needing price comparisons based on total order or single item?

A: Single item.

Does this mean SPA, then, will handle federal FP subs differently than non-federal?  I know, typically, a policy and process is followed for all funding, not just specific, but would this be a case where they would agree to have separate processes for federal vs non-federal?
