T32 predoc stipend paid by other fellowship funds

Hi all,

We have a potential T32 predoc trainee who is also receiving a fellowship supported by donated funds.  I read through the rules on stipends, part-time training, etc from NIH but this other support would not prevent the trainee from being part of the training program.  It would simply mean their first year as a trainee would be supplemented to such an extent that the full stipend amount would not be fulfilled.  

Is this okay?  It seems unnecessary to put off their involvement in the T32 trainee program by a year simply to allow them to be paid by other fellowship funds.  Thank you!
