to CACoP Effort and Cost Share
Hi all,
I have a project that's a sub to a corporation that received an NIH Grant. Is the NIH salary cap applied to us as a sub? I assume so, but cannot find any specific language on the NIH website, nor the NOGA/NOA.
Thanks! Kieran

Yes, salary cap will apply to the subaward. Since the latest noitce was rescinded, I am using the FY 2016 awards issued notice (NOT-OD-16-045) as my backup for this answer.

Yes, the NIH Salary Cap would apply. All terms from the sponsor should pass through to the subcontract. The standard subcontract agreement should say this:
11) The Subaward is subject to the terms and conditions of the PTE Award and other special terms and conditions, as identified in Attachment 2.
