The AEM Mechanics Research Seminar series (aka the "Solids Seminar") will be restarting for Spring 2026 on Tue Feb 3. The seminar will be held every other Tuesday at 12:20-1:20pm in ME 321 (and also broadcast as an online webinar).
Join us for interesting talks related to mechanics. These are meant to be informal presentations with audience participation encouraged! For students, the seminar is being offered as a 1-credit course (AEM 8500).
Kicking off the Spring 2026 series is Prof. Kshitiz Upadhyay from the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics, University of Minnesota. A separate announcement will be sent out with details on this talk.
