The ACPF database has been updated to include data from the 2020 field season. Updates include adding the 2020 NASS Cropland Data Layer (CDL) to each watershed's Crop History table and incorporating these data into the GenLU field in the LU6 table. The GenLU (6-year crop management) field now uses the data from 2015-2020.

The soils data in the ACPF have also been updated to the most current version of the NRCS Soil Survey (July 2020). There have been some slight modifications to the ACPF soil's database structure that will necessitate using the new ACPF toolbox, version 04202021. The soil's database enhancement will support the development of an Economic Analysis tool for ACPF conservation practice results.
Of note...
  • New versions of the ACPF Toolbox (Desktop and Pro) have been made available for download. The new toolbox includes bug fixes, a new option for tile drained land classification, and will support the updated ACPF soils database
  • New watersheds were added for Ohio, bringing the ACPF total to 11,733 HUC12 watersheds.
  • A new field, updateYear, was added to the FB<HUC12> feature class indicating when the most recent edits to the field boundaries feature class were finalized.
  • Two fields were added to the gSSURGO attribute table to support an economic analysis tool by tracking opportunity costs (OCProdIdx, OCProdIdxSrc). Opportunity costs reflect the cost of removing land from production. The economics tool is currently in development.
