Hello everyone,

Here is an important announcement:

The Great Lakes Commission is inviting proposals for the 2026 GLSNRP ACPF within the Great Lakes planning grants program. These microgrants help local partners use ACPF to develop targeted outreach strategies for siting conservation practices in one or two priority HUC-12 watersheds in the Great Lakes Basin.

  • Total available: $60,000; up to $10,000 per project
  • Who can apply:  Indigenous Nations, nonfederal units of government, and incorporated nonprofit organizations in the U.S. Great Lakes basin (e.g., conservation districts, counties, regional planning commissions, watershed groups).
  • Project focus: Building capacity to use ACPF, engage landowners, and plan conservation practices that reduce sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen runoff.
  • Applications due: April 27, 2026, at 5:00 pm Eastern.

Learn more, download the RFP and application template, and submit your proposal through the “Apply for ACPF Planning Funding” page: https://www.glc.org/work/sediment/apply-acpf

Thank you!

Claudette
